ChessPicker Copyright & Content Notice

ChessPicker and ChessPicker branding, original interface code, original lesson organization, original teacher explanations, and original training material created for ChessPicker are protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

Chess moves, positions, FEN strings, and game scores may contain factual game information. ChessPicker does not claim exclusive copyright over facts or over third-party material merely because it appears in a lesson. Names of players, tournaments, openings, and other factual references remain associated with their respective subjects.

Where third-party open-source software is included, it is provided under its own license and copyright notice. See Open-source notices.

The World ECO A00–E99 reference uses the CC0/public-domain lichess-org/chess-openings factual dataset for ECO codes, names and representative move sequences. ChessPicker adds its own teaching presentation and guidance.

Users should not assume that third-party books, annotations, photographs, logos, articles, or other expressive material may be copied into ChessPicker without permission. Only material that is original, licensed, public-domain where applicable, or otherwise lawfully usable should be published.
